Bowral Family Carols- Cancelled

Bradman Oval, 9/11 St Jude St., Bowral

Event Date: 9 Dec 2021, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Bowral Family Carols is a great community event celebrating the birth of Jesus in the traditional Australian way: creating long-lasting family memories while we gather as a community to sing Christmas Carols.

The Bowral Family Carols is the largest event of its kind in the Southern Highlands and grows each year, attracting over 4000 members of our community celebrating the miracle of Christmas in 2019 – before COVID-19 claimed the cancellation of another event.

This year the event will be held on the evening of Thursday, 9 December 2021, at the iconic Bradman Oval. We foresee another great community event celebrating the birth of Jesus in the traditional Australian way: creating long-lasting family memories while we gather as a community to sing Christmas Carols.

PLEASE BOOK YOUR SPOT THIS YEAR

We will have to slightly adjust our normal program to fit within the COVID-19 restrictions.

Kicking off at 5pm, there will be carols under the musical direction of local artist, Jordan Worner, featuring a variety of local talent (including Michelle Cashman) the traditional Nativity Procession with live animals (angels, shepherds and their sheep, Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus on a donkey, as well as the wise men on their camels) with free lolly bags for the children.

Please note that the event will end with a gold coin donation for the Coverdrive Disabilities Program run by the Bradman Foundation.

Hope to see you there!
