Celebrating Heritage Roses in Australia Display and Garden Walks

Event Date: 15 Nov - 16 Nov 2019

Against the backdrop of the more than 100 roses in the two-acre cool-climate garden at Harper’s Mansion, Members of Heritage Roses in Australia (HRiA) will display a selection of heritage roses from their own gardens. 
Roses and Friends will have roses available for purchase, plus books and botanical illustrations.
You can bring along your unnamed rose for identification and ask the experts for advice on local growing conditions and where to source heritage roses.
Friday 15 November:
Talk at 2.00pm: Repeat flowering Bourbons; Josephine Bonaparte’s favourites

Saturday 16 November:
Talk at 11.30 am: Wonderful roses from the Great War period
Talk at 2.00 pm: Choosing heritage roses for you garden

You are welcome to bring along a picnic if you wish and teas, coffee and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
