During this one-day event, author, educator, and parenting and resilience specialist Maggie Dentwill present three sessions to inspire and inform parents and people who work with children and adolescents. Maggie is the author of nine books and a passionate advocate for the healthy, common-sense raising of children in order to strengthen families and communities. A former teacher and counsellor, Maggie is a passionate, positive voice for children of all ages.
Session 1 9 -10.30am – 9 Things: A Back to Basics Guide to Calm, Common-Sense, Connected Parenting Birth-8.
Session 2 11-12.30pm – From the Sandpit to Adulthood: Helping today’s children to thrive.
Session 3 1.30pm – 3pm – Taming the Stress Monster in Adolescence (for parents/carers and their adolescent and people working with adolescents
