FairBreak smash & High Tea with Ann Sherry AO

Join us on Saturday 22nd for a stellar event, the first FairBreak global match plus an exclusive High Tea with Ann Sherry AO, Chair of UNICEF, at the Bradman Centre.

Ms Ann Sherry AO, is one of Australia’s leading business executives with a career that spans Government, Banking and Cruise Tourism. Ann is an incredible force of inspiration and leadership to Australian women and girls. UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. Across 190 countries and territories, UNICEF work for every child. They are the charity partner for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2020, being held in Australia from 21st February to 8th March. The ICC T20 World Cup are raising money to help UNICEF projects held in cricket-playing developing nations, including an innovative program to promote girls’ participation in cricket in Sri Lanka and build peace in its communities.

Ann Sherry AO has said of the project,
“Cricket has tremendous power to make a difference in the lives of children, especially girls, by building leadership skills, empowering them to achieve their goals and building bridges within communities – so that we can ultimately build a better world together.”

The High Tea is held at the Bradman Museum from 12.30pm – 2.10pm.
Tickets are $45 each and include champagne on arrival, with a fine selection of savoury and sweet treats prepared by Bradman Café’s Head Chef. Your ticket includes all day museum admission and entry to the VIP viewing area during the FairBreak T20 Match on Bradman Oval, commencing at 2.15 pm.

The afternoon feature match on Bradman Oval is an all-female T20 match, with 9 nations represented, in the ‘FairBreak Global XI’ versus the inaugural women’s ‘Bradman XI’ featuring Australian stars of tomorrow. The ‘Bradman XI’ youngsters will be captained by Alex Blackwell, Australia’s most capped women’s international player and 2002 Bradman Scholar. The team also includes 2019’s Bradman Scholar, Ms Kelly Rowling. The afternoon match be live-streamed globally by Technology One. The morning match from 10.30am between FairBreak XI and Sydney Cricket Club XI and the feature match are both free to watch for spectators.
