Gang of Five :Art Exhibition : 2020 A New Vision @ BDAS Bowral

The Gang of Five is comprised of five artists, Stan Korytnyj, Michael Eccleston, Peter Griffen, Denise Lithgow and Dale Saunders.

Korytnyj, Eccleston and Saunders are long time locals of the Southern Highlands, and Griffen and Lithgow reside in Sydney.

The exhibition is mixed media and draws upon the individual Artists experience and process. From the felted objects of Denise Lithgow, to the abstract psychological landscapes of Peter Griffen, to the social injustice commentary found in the work of Stan Korytnyj, the exhibition is fresh, diverse and vibrant.

The Gang Of Five is a group of artists collectively exhibiting their body of work in galleries around Australia.
Their aims and aspirations are varied but they all agree that their work must communicate with the public at
large, hopefully making it more aware of the Australian environment, whether natural or political.

The Exhibition will be officially opened on 14th February by Sydney based Poet Angela Stretch.
