Nafisa Naomi celebrates the beauty in nature with the Australian Wildflowers being her subject of expression. Coming from a Dutch heritage, she is inspired by the Dutch Golden Age flower paintings, capturing intricate detail with the design of large painted compositions of floral arrangements including blooms from different regions.
Artist Talks:
Location: The SHAC – Every weekend in March, 2pm-3pm.
Sessions include Q&A after talk, opportunities to purchase a personalised copy of her book.
Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th March – Nafisa will be discussing the Art and history of Portraiture in context to The Archibald prize.
Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th March – Nafisa wll share her knowledge about the art of Lost Wax Broze casting and Bronzes in the Renaissance.
Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st March – Nafisa showcases the original journal – 90 drawing now available in the a publication Tuscan Temptations.
