Ink on yupo art workshop

Alcohol inks create vibrant transparent colour unlike any other medium and form lovely patterns within your painting.
Alcohol Ink is a highly pigmented and quick-drying medium applied by pouring, brushing or stamping on a non-porous surface such as Yupo. The vibrant colours of this ink intermingle creating unique textural effects, often leading to unexpected results.

Our class will begin with a demonstration on techniques of pouring, brushing and creating textures with inks and other materials. The remaining time will be spent discovering the unique possibilities of working with alcohol inks on Yupo, with ample time to complete a few paintings. Each participant will leave with several experimental pieces.
