Julianne Ross Allcorn is a highly accomplished practising artist with works in many collections and has displayed in many group and solo exhibitions.

ARTIST STATEMENT
The wall of Red Hot Flower works are inspired by the Redheads matchbox logo and the strength found in Australian flora. They are a comment on the power of the female today…our strength is red-hot and if you strike us we will fire.

My other works are created from my connection to the Australian bush. It’s that sense of stopping in the moment – of looking, listening and smelling. To be still and discover the unexpected details we take for granted.

The aim is for the viewers to immerse themselves into my works.
