Retford Park: Rhythm of Life Exploring the Twilight

Retford Park National Trust, 1325 Old South Road, Bowral NSW 2576, Australia

Event Date: 29 Feb 2020, 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm

For one evening, join a group of 40 people for dinner and a spirited conversation about loss and grief, hosted by Petrea King in a beautiful garden setting under the twilight sky at Retford Park, the home that James Fairfax gifted to our community.
Life is full of transitions from joyful beginnings to poignant endings, often with ensuing grief. How do we cope with these transitions? As a culture we are not good at listening, sharing or having candid conversations about our feelings around these transitions. Loss and grief can come at any age, any time.
We are opening Retford park to those in our community & further afield – young and mature – who would like to be part of this special evening.
No therapy – just fine food, wonderful company, entertainment, talk, laughter and maybe some tears!
Tickets available: $70 adult, $60 NT member, BYO wine.
