A ‘SPUD-TACULAR’ Weekend
A fantastic family friendly event that celebrates all things potato at the Robsudson, potato festival.
A festival to bring all-things-potato to life from cultivation to culinary experiences in the vibrant town of Robertson. From making mash or moonshine, to art making and growing, cooking and competitions; there’ll be opportunities to explore and celebrate the diversity and importance of this staple food which is the world’s fourth largest food crop.
The event promises to be an engaging weekend of fun, food and festivities and a Spud-tacular time.
There will be live music on the five barrel brewing music stage. Internationally acclaimed band Dragon will be the star attraction of this year’s event, set to perform on Sunday 5th May. Peter Byrne will also be bringing his ‘Forever Diamond’ Neil Diamond tribute show to the festival on Saturday 4th May.
The ‘Master Spud’ cooking stage will feature Julie Goodwin, the inaugural MasterChef series winner, she will showcase her culinary expertise over both days.
There are competitions and prizes available for festival-goers including a pets section and the highly anticipated ‘Hessians on the Field’ fashion event. New to this years festival is the the ‘ScareCrow Competition’.
Join in on a range of activities and family fun from competitive peeling, spud and spoon races, sack races and more. The Potato festival mascot ‘Seb’ will be back.
