Selby & Friends A Night Transfigured

Named for the extraordinary work “Verklarte Nächt” by seminal 20TH Century composer Arnold Schönberg, this program presents this important work in the version for piano trio created by famous cellist Edward Steurmann. The program also presents gorgeous melodic works by Mozart and Schubert with important Australian soloists, European-based leader, violinist Natalie Chee and iconic Australian cellist and Canberra native Julian Smiles joining Artistic Director Kathryn Selby. This is a brilliant program designed to showcase the extraordinary talents of the artists who will share their insights with the audience along with their performances.
