CANCELLED – Selby & Friends Lets Get Personal

This unusual program explores the home-grown roots of our special guests, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster, violinist Vesa-Matti Leppänen and SSO Co-Principal Cellist Umberto Clerici who join Artistic Director Kathryn Selby. Presenting works by Sibelius, Martucci, Beethoven and Dvorak, we explore the beauty and exoticism of these works and their influence on classical music through the generations and indeed their influence on the artists themselves.
