Two Journeys, Different Paths

Southern Highlands-based artists Elizabeth Burton and Gillian Baldock present a joint exhibition of incredible works presented in the historic grounds of Retford Park. Elizabeth explores flowers, trees and landscapes and their meaningfulness as abstractions. Gillian presents animals interactions and relationships of animals with each other and the environment.

Elizabeth and Gillian are inspired by nature. Their paths to the expression of nature and the messages produced are very different. Elizabeth explores flowers, trees and landscapes and their meaningfulness as abstractions. Gillian’s works are an expression of her fascination with, and concern for, animals and the environment.
