‘Into The Light’ offers an opportunity to showcase the work of contemporary artists, whilst linking the visual arts with awareness of mental health; how the creative practice can influence the artist, and what the art can offer the viewer. The theme ‘Into The Light’, looks to showcase artwork that offers a sense of hope and light; a visual and emotional antidote to falling into darkness through the transformative power of art.

This year’s World Mental Health Weeks theme explores Mind / Body / Environment, and works submitted must use one or more of the themes as inspiration for works submitted.

10% of sales will be donated to ‘Cool Kids’ (A program supporting mental health for children and teens) delivered by the Stress and Trauma Clinic.
