Wingecarribee Prize for Landscape Art 2025

The annual landscape prize exhibition is one of our most popular exhibitions on the Bowral art Gallery calendar. Without fail, this is an outstanding exhibition of high quality and varied works. Once again we expect a large number of works entered from artists both local and interstate artists with several new artists exhibiting with the gallery for the first time.

The exhibition is proudly sponsored by Wingecarribee Shire Council. Winners will be announced at the official opening on Friday 7 March at 6pm. First prize $5000 and second prize is $1000. Prize money is kindly sponsored by Wingecarribee Shire Council.

The judge for 2025 is practising artist, Melissa Read Devine and curator Kim Shannon. Melissa will have the challenging task of selecting the finalists and prize winners.

Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to select their People’s Choice Award which has been kindly donated by Bowral Art Gallery.
