Located at Maugers’ pictureseque family farm, ‘Laurel View’, in Robertson, you will have the opportunity to learn from the source about every step of where your meat comes from and how the Mauger’s produce the very best premium quality grass-fed meat.
The three hour tour includes a short presentation on Maugers’ beef and lamb production, morning tea, farm tour, meat tasting (slow cooked Maugers’ meat on a soft bread roll with our house made chutney or relish – a local speciality!) and butchery demonstration.
It’s a rare thing these days to find a butcher shop that controls what happens to your meat before it turns up at the shop in a cardboard box.
