Welcome to Botanical-ifragilisticexpialidocious –
an array of botanical wonders. Some recognisable. Others more fanciful. All with one thing in common: a sense of adventure.

My art offers passage to a whimsical world with no defined boundaries or end. Here there are familiar elements but also a newness and eccentricity to keep senses alert.

I attempt to take identifiable botanical emblems and put them through a modern spin cycle. To twist traditional with contemporary. Where bright colours, stark contrasting tones exaggerated features and forms compete with fragile lines, clean space and polished detail.

If you feel a sense of wonder and excitement, a sense of adventure and exploration my art is doing its job.
