Ever wanted to graft your own fruit trees? Grafting fruit trees is useful for preserving old varieties, starting a backyard orchard or growing multiple varieties of the same species on one tree. Most of the rootstocks available on the day are dwarfing or semi-dwarfing varieties which allow space-saving in the backyard and a wide range of apple scions will be available from local trees. Join us at Moss Vale Community Garden to develop your practical skills with the help of some expert instruction.
All grafters will be able to take home their grafted rootstock, from a choice of rootstock size plus varietal scion wood and practical skills for the future.
