Mark Toner: A Retrospective of Paintings & Sculptures 1985 – 2025

‘Mark A. Toner: A Retrospective: 1985-2025’ showcases the culmination of the 40 year art practice of local Southern Highlands artist, Dr. Mark Toner.

Mark has pursued his passion for art since the 1980s alongside his career as a school counsellor and throughout this time has held several solo exhibitions and contributed to group shows in the Southern Highlands.

Mark’s distinctive and dramatic painting style often explores unique perspectives and three-dimensional effects, reflecting his deep appreciation for nature and the Australian landscape. His study and role as a psychologist has informed his work in other paintings and sculptures that convey psychological themes and surrealist elements. More recently, his extensive travels around the world have inspired a growing array of paintings capturing these diverse landscapes and landmarks.

This retrospective exhibition offers a comprehensive look at Mark’s artistic journey and is a must-see collection for art lovers.
