Pinot Noir Masterclass at Centennial Vineyards

Join us each Saturday at 11.30am for an intimate and immersive Pinot Noir experience, held in our winery shed amongst the barrels and guided by one of our expert wine stewards.

This masterclass is designed for those wanting to deepen their appreciation of one of the world’s most expressive grape varieties. You’ll be taken on a journey through the history of Pinot Noir, with a focus on how it thrives here at Centennial and what we have planted across our vineyard sites.

Explore the influence of terroir and how it shapes each wine, while gaining insight into both sparkling and red winemaking techniques. Along the way, you’ll learn how to taste and assess wine like a professional, from refining your palate to understanding the importance of glassware in enhancing aroma and flavour.

The experience includes a curated tasting of four Pinot Noir dominant sparkling wines, followed by a hand selected showcase of our Pinot Noir range, highlighting the diversity and character of the varietal. To complete the journey, you’ll be guided through food pairing principles, enjoying a selection of cheeses thoughtfully matched to each wine.
