The theme for our June Soul Time is “A Home of Peace” – exploring the importance of families, and how unity and peace in the home can profoundly impact unity and peace outside the home.
We are excited to invite you to join us at the Mittagong Senior Citizens and Community Centre at 10 b Albert Street (behind Mittagong Library) on Sunday 27 June from 2 – 4pm to enjoy a soul-enriching program filled with quotations and stories from philosophers, divine educators and other writers.
We are delighted that Arman Gouniaei on Taar and Armin Riazifar on Santoor, both traditional Persian musical instruments, will be providing the live music interludes.
We will be following all social distancing and Covid-safe procedures and guests will be checked in as part of government policy.
A quote from the program:
To put the world in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must put the family in order; to put the family in order, we must cultivate our personal life; and to cultivate our personal life, we must first set our hearts right.
Soul Time is a community service initiative of Wingecarribee Baha’i community. It is not a religious event. It’s a beautiful way to inspire people, to bring us together no matter what our religion or spiritual beliefs, and spend a thoughtful, nurturing hour to be inspired about how the world could look…….
Please RSVP by 20 June if you are planning to attend in person.
