The Cockatoo Run

East Coast Heritage Rail welcomes you back to the Cockatoo Run! We are looking forward to seeing you on our first two post-covid tours on the 24th and 25th April.

Hauled by a heritage diesel locomotive and featuring our beautifully restored and maintained carriages, the Cockatoo Run operates a return tour from Sydney through to Robertson or Moss Vale via Wollongong. We commences the journey in Sydney, travelling along the spectacular Illawarra route to Wollongong. The journey from Sydney offers spectacular coastal scenery prior to the ascent of the Illawarra Escarpment, where we will stop at Summit Tank to experience otherwise unobtainable views of Lake Illawarra and the Tasman Sea, before continuing to Robertson or Moss Vale where you can enjoy lunch at your leisure.

The Cockatoo Run will be provided in a Covidsafe manner and an update with the latest Covidsafe requirements will be sent to you a couple of days before the tour
