A bold 1960s reimagining of Shakespeare’s classic. Love, power and rebellion collide in a witty battle of hearts from The Fifth Act Co.

Our debut production, The Taming of the Shrew, transports Shakespeare’s beloved comedy to the vibrant world of the 1960s. Against a backdrop of social change and shifting expectations, this adaptation explores love, identity, power and partnership with humour, heart and curiosity. Rather than providing easy answers, it invites audiences to question, reflect and discover new meaning within one of theatre’s most debated works.
