Wallaby Hill Equestrian Extravaganza

Wallaby Hill, 122 Wallaby Hill Rd, Robertson

Event Date: 13 Feb 2022

The annual Equestrian Extravaganza at Wallaby Hill, held on the second Sunday in February, is fast becoming a February fixture in the Southern Highlands’ social diary. Drawing Sydneysiders and rural folk, both equestrian and non-horsey alike, this is a great day of sporting competition to be enjoyed both as a competitor and or spectator.

Competitors come from all of the three Olympic disciplines to take part in the day’s competitions, dressing up in extraordinary costumes competing against the clock. Sydney Gold medallist and Rio Bronze medallist Stuart Tinney is a firm fixture at this event, often competing against his daughter Gemma. Beijing Silver medallist and Rio Bronze medallist Shane Rose is also a long-time participant.

The majority of the day’s action can be viewed from our shaded viewing terrace, while enjoying a Wallaby Hill Picnic full of the best local produce from Moonacres Kitchen and Far Ago Hill Wines. Picnic orders can be made online via the Wallaby Hill website and customised to suit all eating requirements and the number of guests in your party. Alternatively you can enjoy the bar, food from the Mean Muffin Canteen, shopping at the trade-stands and still get up close to the competition arena.

Entry is free to all spectators.
