Wild: The 28th Annual Exhibition of the Southern Highlands Textile & Fibre Network
An exhibition of work by textile and fibre artists. The exhibition, with its “Wild”’theme, is the 28th annual exhibition of the Southern Highlands Textile & Fibre Network Incorporated. The group was established in 1996 and the annual exhibitions are eagerly looked forward to by many in the textile and arts community in the Southern Highlands region and beyond. The work includes a group installation as well as work by individual members in a variety of textile arts and crafts: including ‘Art to Wear’ pieces, jewellery, weaving, knitting, spinning, feltmaking, millinery, upcycled items, quilts, wall hangings and basketry.
Come along and be surprised by the creativity of members and the wide range of items in the exhibition. Many of the artworks and wearable items will be for sale.
The opening with the artists will kick off with a fashion parade at 1 pm on Saturday, 15th August.

The Southern Highlands Textile & Fibre Network (SHTFN) is a forum for anyone interested in textile and fibre work on a professional or recreational level. The group organises networking opportunities, guest speakers and workshops aimed at providing support, contacts, information exchange between textile people in the region.
Meetings are held every 3rd Saturday of the month at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Hall, Bendooley St, Bowral. New members are welcome.
