Sturt is also one of the premier cultural tourist attractions of the Southern Highlands region welcoming over 50,000 visitors each year and features a multi award-winning craft and design shop, gallery, cafe, craft studios, courses and workshops, a collection of Australian craft and historic buildings and gardens.
Sturt is the ideal place to source a special gift, an artwork to collect, or designed textiles and scarves. All products are made in Australia, and are of the highest quality and materials. Sturt proudly promotes the work of Australia’s craftspeople and is a favourite destination for over thirty thousand visitors each year. Of special interest is the ceramics, wood and textiles made on site by Sturt’s resident craftspeople. Sturt also presents exhibitions of fine craft and art by some of Australians finest artists each year.
