The Bradman Dash – A Fun Run With a Legendary Twist
The Southern Highlands is set for a morning of light-hearted competition, laughter, and community spirit with the inaugural Bradman Dash — a playful take on the 100-metre sprint, inspired by the legendary 99.94 batting average of Sir Donald Bradman.
Taking place at Bradman Oval in Bowral this event is designed for everyone — from serious sprinters to weekend joggers, and anyone who just wants to enjoy a fun, family-friendly morning. With a unique race distance of 99.94 metres, participants aged 12 and up can test their speed across a series of short-distance heats.
Event Highlights Include:
• A relaxed festival atmosphere with music, a sausage sizzle, and family-friendly fun.
• Prizes and bragging rights.
• The chance to celebrate Bradman’s legacy in the very heart of cricket history.
The Bradman Dash isn’t about breaking records — it’s about bringing the community together, celebrating movement, and having a laugh. Everyone can come along, whether you’re running, cheering from the side lines, or enjoying a coffee with friends.
