Highlands Music Collective presents ‘Stravinsky’s Soldier’s Tale’

Delve into the 1918 theatrical world of Stravinsky’s Soldier’s Tale, a compelling fusion of chamber music, theatre, dance and storytelling.

Written for a small ensemble and three actors , this old Russian folktale follows a soldier on leave from the army who trades his violin for a magic book that reveals the secrets to becoming rich and foretells the future. He soon discovers, however, that he has made a deal with the devil and that money does not bring happiness.
