The Kangaroo Valley Artists Collective consists of 19 artists working across painting, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, photography, printmaking, mixed media and cord waining. While styles and mediums differ, members are united by a commitment to creative growth contributing to the cultural life of the Valley. A joint exhibition at Bowral Art Gallery in June 2026 – is a significant milestone and an opportunity to showcase the remarkable breadth of talent emerging from Kangaroo Valley.
Closer to home, Collective artists continue contributing to events such as Arts in the Valley – Visual Arts in the Valley in October 2026 and Sculptures in the Valley in 2027, ensuring that local creativity remains visible and accessible to both residents and visitors.
A core aim of the Collective is not only to support artists internally, but also to create opportunities for the wider community to engage more deeply with art. Plans include artist talks, workshops, panel discussions, and both solo and group exhibitions, giving audiences insight into the ideas, processes and stories behind the artworks they encounter.
The Kangaroo Valley Artists Collective is still in its early days, but already it has become a supportive and inspiring creative community.
The opening with the artists is Saturday 27th June at 3pm.
