Kite Flying Workshop at Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens in Bowral

Learn how to make and fly a kite!

The Kite Flying workshop is fun for all the family. Beginning with a children’s kite-building workshop before heading outside to launch their creations into the sky. Plenty of fun for all ages, with kids, friends, parents and grandparents all able to join in the excitement together.

Enjoy a sausage sizzle from the BBQ stall and get a barista coffee from the coffee van. Or bring your own picnic, sit back, and watch the newly made kites soar in the air.

Bookings are essential. Six 30-minute kite-building sessions are available between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

Costs: $25 Workshop only or $30 Workshop plus sausage sizzle and drink
Costs include kite kit, construction & decorating
General Admission to the garden if free.

Free parking. EFTPOS available.

Note: no dogs as we are a protected bird habitat.
