La Nuit – Music for choir and strings

Spend an autumn afternoon at the Centennial Vineyards Cellar Door with the Zephyr Ensemble as they present a concert celebrating the beauty and joy of night.

The program begins on a midsummer evening with Henry Purcell’s exuberant The Fairy Queen, before moving into Morten Lauridsen’s acclaimed choral suite Nocturnes, featuring the luminous Sure on This Shining Night. The journey continues with Elena Kats-Chernin’s heartfelt Memorial Rag, a tribute to her mother, and concludes with beloved classics by Billy Joel and Gordon Lightfoot.

Joined by some of the finest musicians from the Southern Highlands, the Zephyr Ensemble offers an afternoon of music that reflects on the night, memory, and connection—an evocative journey shared with those we love.
