Southern Highlands Textile & Fibre Network Exhibition “Out of the Blue”

Members of the Southern Highlands Textile & Fibre Network will be exhibiting their work to the theme of “Out of the Blue”. Being one of the primary colours there are many ways to interpret its impact on our daily lives; be it a mood, a visual impact, a surprise or just happenstance from the dye pot.

Our members encompass textile and fibre artists practicing felting, creative knitted wearables, shibori dyeing, millinery, embroidery, quilting and mixed media amongst others. We meet once a month in Bowral often with an invited speaker discussing their textile practice as well as an occasional workshop to learn new techniques relating to fibre arts.
