RSVP in Print

This is the second iteration of an innovative interstate print exchange between artists from Firestation Print Studio in Melbourne, Victoria and Southern Highlands Printmakers in New South Wales. Artists are asked to print an initial work which speaks to their individual style and interests and a second print which responds to a print from the interstate studio. The result is 80 new prints which illustrate a conversation and exchange between two artists as they draw inspiration and influence from the other’s prints.
The creative prints illustrate a wide range of techniques including linocut, woodcut, etching, collagraph, monoprint and other mixed media. RSVP in Print continues the history of cultural exchange and collaboration that are strong features of contemporary printmaking.
