Hear Luke and Cedar, two of the region’s finest young musicians, cast a spell of enchantment. Beethoven says farewell in ‘Les Adieux’, the last great sonata of his middle period. Poulenc offers charm and wit. Liszt translates love sonnets. Prokofiev creates haunting beauty. Ysaÿe gives voice to the human spirit in a tone poem.
Well known to Bowral audiences, Luke, 19, studies piano under Prof. Robert Constable and earned his LMusA with distinction at 15. He has performed extensively as a solo and orchestral pianist.
Also familiar with Southern Highland audiences, Cedar’s passion for the violin led to studies and performances in Sydney, Europe and New York. She will be the soloist for the final concert of the Bowral Autumn Music Festival.
