Southern Highlands Jazz Inc.’s latest Sunday Sessions Jazz event, “Remembering Julian Lee and Don Burrows”, features pianist Kevin Hunt and a number of other special guests in this not-to-be-missed tribute to Australia’s jazz music legends. Kevin Hunt is an internationally-renowned jazz pianist, composer and educator who has been performing in the Sydney jazz scene since 1979, and currently performs regularly with vocalist Emma Pask and pianist Simon Tedeschi.
This special gig with the Sunday Sessions Quartet and guests is a tribute to two giants of Australian jazz, Julian Lee and Don Burrows, and the incredible legacy they have had both on the local jazz scene and the many great musicians who have been influenced and inspired by them over the years.
The band will be playing from 2-5pm. The $30 ticket price is for event entry only with reserved table seating, plus a $0.50 booking fee per ticket. If you have any special requests, please let us know when you book!
Doors will open from 1:00pm with food and drink available for purchase from the bar.
