Jennings Kerr is pleased to present a new series of painting by Vanessa Forbes. ‘Veils’ will run from Apr 10 – May 3, 2026, with an Opening Reception to be held on Sat, Apr 11, from 2-4pm.

Vanessa Forbes is a contemporary artist and painter who lives in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Her work focuses on the transitory nature of time. The enigma of what the world is made of has always fascinated her. Is it frequency and light that creates our reality? These are the questions that inform her practice and her thoughts.
Having completed both Graduate and Post Graduate studies in Visual Arts, Forbes has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Sydney and Internationally. She has an extensive teaching background at both University and High Schools. These include the University of Western Sydney and the International School of Colour and Design and private secondary schools both in Sydney and the Southern Highlands.
