View From Here – Art Exhibition

The upcoming exhibition,”View From Here” at the Bowal Art Gallery, will feature impressive artworks from the studios of three artists: Printworks by Michelle Cole, Photography by Patricia Sheumack and Oil Paintings by Greg Thompson.
Each artist captures the rich qualities of light within their works from landscapes to still life. Works reflect inspiration from local locations and those beyond. They creatively capture the qualities of objects in our world. It is amazing to see how each artist has captured mood in their work. Long shadows, the warm light on distant hills, the transient passing of time captured in the lense, with the brush and on the pen, the appeal of rich textures, formed shape and line. This exhibition will definitely be worth a look. Opening 6pm Friday 8 April.
