The centre piece of Bendooley Estate, our Book Barn has long been the home of Berkelouw Books. A beautiful building, with its soaring cathedral ceilings and beautiful sandstone veranda and garden, the Book Barn houses thousands of new, secondhand, and antiquarian books. Built early last century and recently renovated, this multi-functional space operates as a bookshop by day, as well as housing the Bendooley Estate Restaurant and Bar, and can be transformed into an incredible event space. Just down the lane is the Rare Book Department.
Browse the shelves and enjoy coffee and lunch or sample some of our cool-climate wines in the stunning new stone-built Cellar Door and enjoy some warm, country hospitality. Visit for an hour or a day.
