Friends of Wingecarribee Libraries (FOWL) presents
Candida Baker will be discussing her latest novel Light and Shadow in conversation with Lynne Johnson.
Light and Shadow is a rich reimagining of a true story from 1874 of a world-famous photographer, who shot his wife’s lover and was acquitted.
To explore themes of belonging and female agency, the author takes a leap forward to imagine the photographer’s granddaughter living as an elderly woman in the high country of Victoria.
